Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data on buildity.app — the marketing site and the beta signup form.

1. Who we are
buildity.app is operated by BDITY.LAB, Lda., a Portuguese private limited company headquartered at TERINOV — Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia da Ilha Terceira, Canada de Belém, 9700-702 Terra Chã, Angra do Heroísmo, Azores, Portugal, VAT/NIPC 517752255. 2. Data we collect
On this site we collect only the data you submit voluntarily through the beta signup form: email address, role (optional), company size (optional), the page you came from, and your browser locale. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not run third-party analytics on this site.
3. Purpose of processing
Your data is used exclusively to (a) place you on the buildity.app private beta waiting list, (b) prioritise your slot based on role and company size, and (c) email you when the beta opens. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) when you submit the signup form. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to geral@buildity.pt — your record will be deleted immediately.
5. Retention
We keep beta signup data for up to 24 months from your last interaction with the beta programme. After that, records are deleted automatically. If you accept the beta invite and become a Buildity customer, retention follows the customer agreement.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, at any time by writing to geral@buildity.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese DPA (CNPD — www.cnpd.pt).
7. Sub-processors
We use Netlify Inc. for site hosting and form storage (data is processed in EU regions when available), GitLab Inc. for source code, and transactional email providers when sending beta invites. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is limited to BDITY.LAB personnel under a formal need-to-know basis. We log all access to personal data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced via email to anyone with an active record on file. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
